Kevin Armstrong, the owner of Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail Bar, an award-winning venue in East London, has over 25 years of experience in the beverage and business industries. He is also the co-author of Roundbuilding, a book on practical bartending technique.

Armstrong’s skill set includes operating street food markets, restaurants, large capacity festivals, and event management, and he has delivered seminars in over 30 countries and opened over a dozen venues.

The talk “A Decade of Detail” explores the beginnings of Satan’s Whiskers, sharing the venue’s mission, ethos, design, and technical approach, and how addressing these details have contributed to the bar’s success.

Satan’s Whiskers is East London’s original neighbourhood bar, setting the benchmark for classic and modern classic cocktails since 2013. The bar is also known as London’s bartenders’ bar, with a focus on detail and consistency underpinning the venue’s daily changing menu, all of which is set to an epic hip-hop playlist.
